Script Indexes with Field Sort Order

Post by aksturgeon » Fri Sep 25, 2015 8:34 pm

When generating tables statements from an existing model I do not see the column sort order.
I can use this statement to create an index in a database...

CREATE INDEX BAJEXTR3 ON PFBAJEXTR (CO, BJGRP, BJACCT, BJSSN, BJDSEQ, BJPRID, BJFRYR DESC, BJFRMT DESC, BJFRDY DESC) ;

If I later script out the table that the index is applied to I get the following from DbSchema...

CREATE INDEX BAJEXTR3 ON PFBAJEXTR (CO, BJGRP, BJACCT, BJSSN, BJDSEQ, BJPRID, BJFRYR, BJFRMT, BJFRDY);

Is there a way that I can inform DbSchema to include the column sort order in the index statements?

Thank you very much.

We have now a property in Edit / Database Preferences / Behavior / Support Column Ordering in Indexes. Now enabled for Cassandra and SnppyData.
For which database you need this feature ?

I work primarily with SQL Server and DB2 on the iSeries (AS400).
Thank you very much.
