Impossible to add varchar column without length

Post by eduard.sadykov » Thu Dec 15, 2011 11:39 am

It is correct in Postgres:
ALTER TABLE testtable
ADD COLUMN testcol varchar;

but DbSchema said: "Please set the length"

Hello Eduard,

Please go to Tools -> Settings -> Data Types -> Varchar (double click it) -> Set the Precision to None -> Press Ok to save it.

After synchronization with PostgreSQL databse, only names of the functions are copied into .dbs file. Text of the functions is missing (see below). If I create a function within DbSchema and then save it to database, the result is the same - DbSchema does not see text of the function in database. Next time I'm trying to syncrhonize, DbSchema behaves like function are without code
